Historic Tintaldra Store and Tea Rooms, established in 1864, is the TOP SPOT at the top of the Murray River for tourist coaches and travellers. Built of natural materials available in the area at the time (such as River Red Gum and Stringy Bark) the store is a living history taking visitors back in time. Dinkum Aussie tucker is served on enamel plates in the licensed dining room where you will be entertained with Bush Poetry and Bush Music. Other meals are available, with Devonshire Tea a very popular choice. Coach groups are requested to book in advance - maximum 50. The Museum Section has a 150 year old Organ as well as other artefacts of the era including a wood-fired bakery.
